Mr Lolli Olafsson, CEO
For Reykjavík-born Lolli Olafsson, wasting resources is not an option. The driven and enthusiastic Founder and CEO of Geyser Thermal Energy is never short on ideas, but his work isn’t about clever-sounding concepts; he has a proven track record in delivering bespoke long-lasting solutions that enable businesses to operate far more efficiently.
Inspired by his father and grandfather, who as heating engineers were masters of their art, Lolli Olafsson discovered the world of controls and fault-finding to be fascinating at a very young age. Absorbed by creating enhancements, he was and still is, a very fast learner – today even more fascinated and passionate than ever about how we can capture what some regard as ‘waste’ and use it sensibly, efficiently, for the environmental and economic benefit of us all.
Complementing his natural flair for design, Lolli still gets his hands as dirty as he did in his formative years. He never tires of learning how to understand the fundamentals of a customer’s needs and how to build a new system or adapt an existing one for greatly improved use of important resources.
With a mindset that focuses, for example, on how to harness heat rather than the accepted norm of how to get rid of it (!), Lolli has led successful projects for several major companies. Since establishing Geyser Thermal Energy in 2014, the company’s innovative approach has already been recognised with a top award for its water and energy-saving work at Nuffield Health – as well as acclaim for its innovative design and installation with the NHS, Tyram Lakes luxury Hotel & Resort, and the distinguished independent education facility, Royal Hospital School.
Leading a company that is totally committed to creating real difference – and not just ticking boxes, Lolli Olafsson
has the vision to help businesses who want to stop wasting the Earth’s precious resources a reality.
Mr Charles Cooper
Our Operations Manager, Charles Cooper is very much all over Geyser Thermal Energy’s operations. He has previously been in the role at a leading construction company in Yorkshire – and at a property development business, establishing expert skills in liaising with all parties in the supply chain, as well as with local authorities.
A former Director of a Builders Merchant, Charles has left no stone unturned in the pursuit of excellence since starting his career as an apprentice joiner when he was 16 years of age. Just like our CEO Lolli Olafsson, he gets stuck in, demonstrating advanced problem-solving and analytical proficiency.
Throughout his career, including a key role at Travis Perkins, Charles has delivered top results in all environments – now focusing on district heating schemes and the best possible use of resources to create highly efficient and long-lasting renewable energy solutions.
An excellent people-person, Charles thrives under pressure, a master at multi-tasking – with a very beady eye on health & safety, budgets and deadlines that help create positive and enduring partnerships.
Away from work, Charles unwinds by riding motorbikes and fine-tuning his golf game.
When Geyser Thermal Energy is working with you, there’s every chance that our enthusiastic Project Manager Sarajane Marchant will be part of ensuring that your important project progresses smoothly.
An excellent communicator with a cool head – working very closely with our CEO Lolli Olafsson, Sarajane is organised, focussed and always up to date on all of the who, what, when and whys of everything that goes into making a project successful.
Ultra-professional but with a friendly approach that builds and maintains business relationships, Sarajane gained extensive front-line experience when working under contract for the Department for International Trade/UK Trade & Investment, formulating strategies for business development through export. She has also worked in property management, liaising closely with national new-build developers and their legal departments.
